EDIT: the script mentioned in the question, and the other script pointed among the answers, both work just fine with multibyte strings - turned out my problem was elsewhere.

This implementation doğru UTF-8 dizeleri işlemek gibi görünüyor. Eğer demo test etmek istiyorsanız, ilk tarayıcı ayarlarında UTF-8 sayfa kodlamasını değiştirmek emin olun.
